Abstract

Implementation of Community Programs in the Immunization Program in Prevention of Diphtheria in Bulak District, Surabaya City. Public Administration Studies Program. August Seventeenth University. Faculty of Social Science and Political Science. August Seventeenth University. Problems in this study include the low implementation of community programs on immunization programs in the prevention of diphtheria, lack of public knowledge about immunization, especially fear of side effects, and lack of socialization and counseling about immunization, especially side effects of immunization from Puskesmas and Posyandu to the people of Bulak District. The focus of this research is Community Participation in the Immunization Program in Efforts to Prevent Diphtheria in the City of Surabaya. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of the Community Program in the Immunization Program in the Prevention of Diphtheria in Bulak District. The theory of data collection used is observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Public Health Center in Bulak District, Posyandu in Bulak District, Bulak District, and the Community of Bulak District. The results of this study are that there is no forum between the Puskesmas, Posyandu, Subdistrict, and the community, the participation of the people of Bulak District is low. Then the lack of coordination between the Puskesmas and Bulak District. In addition, there is a lack of socialization and counseling to the people of Bulak District. And the election of the Head of Posyandu in Bulak District is still less selective in terms of educational background.
